Old School

Old School is a French feature film released in 2000. It was co-directed by Kader Ayd and Karim Abbou, who also wrote the screenplay together with Emmanuel Booz. The cast brings together a mix of actors and public figures, including Julien Courbey and Ramzy Bedia alongside Élie Semoun, JoeyStarr, Smaïn, Astrid Veillon, Fabienne Babe and Bernie Bonvoisin. Well-known footballers Ali Benarbia and Bernard Lama also appear in the film. The picture belongs to a wave of French productions of the period that drew on the suburban and youth culture of the time, and it opened in French cinemas in the year 2000.
