The Things You Kill (Öldürdüğün Şeyler)

Öldürdüğün Şeyler (The Things You Kill) is a 2025 Turkish-language mystery film written and directed by Alireza Khatami. A co-production between Canada, Turkey, Poland and France, the 114-minute film had its world premiere on 24 January 2025 in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival, before opening in Turkish cinemas in late April. It was chosen as Canada's submission for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards, though it did not receive a nomination.

Ekin Koç stars as a university professor who turns to his gardener for help in avenging his mother's suspicious death, with Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Hazar Ergüçlü and Ercan Kesal in supporting roles. Khatami co-produced the film alongside Elisa Sepulveda Ruddoff, Cyriac Auriol, Mariusz Włodarsk and Michael Solomon.
