People in Luck (Les Veinards) is a 1963 French anthology comedy made up of five sketches. Each segment follows a lucky winner whose life is turned upside down after claiming the top prize in a lottery or sweepstake. The episodes were directed by Philippe de Broca, Jean Girault and Jack Pinoteau, and the ensemble cast features France Anglade, Jean-Claude Brialy, Darry Cowl, Jean Lefebvre, Mireille Darc and Jacqueline Maillan, with Louis de Funès headlining the final segment. Shot in 1962 and released in April 1963, the roughly 96-minute film also circulated abroad under titles such as The Lucky in English-speaking markets, Die Glückspilze or Fünf Glückspilze in West Germany and I fortunati in Italy. The screenplay is credited to Daniel Boulanger, with some sources also naming Jacques Vilfrid and Jean Girault as writers.
