So Sweet, So Dead (original title: Rivelazioni di un maniaco sessuale al capo della squadra mobile) is a 1972 Italian giallo film directed by Roberto Bianchi Montero, with Farley Granger, Sylva Koscina and Silvano Tranquilli in the leading roles. The story follows a police inspector hunting a serial killer who targets unfaithful wives, and the investigation gradually exposes compromising secrets among the city's respectable circles. Running about 95 minutes, the picture mixes murder mystery with the hard-edged crime style of the period's poliziotteschi. It also circulated under the alternate title The Slasher is the Sex Maniac. A separate American cut, released as Penetration, included hardcore inserts featuring Harry Reems and Kim Pope.
