Sorry Not Sorry

Sorry Not Sorry is a 2019 Swedish short film written and directed by Julia Thelin. Gizem Erdoğan stars as Feride, who, on her way home from a party, encounters a group of young men singing in a wooden boat. When the boat runs into trouble, the men ask her for help, and without her consent Feride is drawn into their nighttime journey through Stockholm. Offering a striking and at times humorous look at power dynamics, the film won an audience award at the Gothenburg Film Festival and was screened at various festivals.
