The Cursed Medallion

The Cursed Medallion is an Italian horror feature released in 1975. Its original Italian title is Il medaglione insanguinato, and in some markets it appeared under the name The Night Child. Massimo Dallamano directed the picture and shared the writing credit with Laura Toscano. The principal cast includes Richard Johnson, Joanna Cassidy and Ida Galli, supported by performers such as Edmund Purdom and Nicoletta Elmi. With a running time of roughly ninety minutes, the film stands as one of the genre productions that came out of the Italian film industry in the mid-1970s. For its international distribution it carried alternate titles, notably Émilie, l'enfant des ténèbres in France and El medallón ensangrentado in Spain.
