The Frog Prince

The Frog Prince is a 1984 romantic comedy written and directed by Brian Gilbert. A British-French co-production, it was released in the United States under the title French Lesson; the production company was Enigma (Goldcrest) and the original language is English.

The story follows Jenny, a young British woman who travels to Paris to attend university, determined to find the man of her dreams. Jane Snowden stars as Jenny, alongside Françoise Brion, Jacqueline Doyen and Øystein Wiik. The film is also noted for its music, which features compositions by Enya, years before her international breakthrough. Running about 93 minutes, it portrays a young woman's first independent years in Paris in a light romantic vein.
