The Golden Waterfall

The Golden Waterfall (Persian: Abshar-e Tala) is a 1972 Iranian feature film directed, written and produced by Siamak Yasemi. Shot in color and in CinemaScope, it was a production of the Puria Film company. The cast includes Reza Abdi, Iran Ghaderi and Mohammadtaghi Kohanmouei. Yasemi, a well-known figure of pre-revolutionary commercial Persian cinema, handled the film's direction, screenplay and production himself, making it a characteristic example of the popular filmmaking of that era in Iran.
