It serves as a sequel to Michele Soavi's 2018 film La Befana vien di notte, continuing the story built around the Befana, the gift-bringing witch figure of Italian folklore. Monica Bellucci stars, with a supporting cast that includes Corrado Guzzanti, Fabio De Luigi and Alessandro Haber. The screenplay was written by Nicola Guaglianone and Menotti.
