The Passenger – Welcome to Germany (German: Der Passagier – Welcome to Germany) is a 1988 German drama film and the fourth and final feature directed by playwright Thomas Brasch, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jurek Becker. Tony Curtis stars in the leading role.

The story follows an American filmmaker who returns to contemporary Germany to shoot a film based on a fictionalized true incident from 1942, in which 13 Jewish prisoners in a concentration camp were promised freedom if they appeared in a German propaganda film. Their hopes were betrayed, and the director now wants to tell what really happened, hoping to overcome his personal trauma from the Holocaust. The film was entered into the 1988 Cannes Film Festival.
