The Porter from Maxim's

The Porter from Maxim's (original title: Le Chasseur de chez Maxim's) is a 1976 French comedy directed by Claude Vital. Michel Galabru, Jean Lefebvre and Marie-Hélène Breillat headline the picture, with Jean-Pierre Darras, Robert Dalban, Claude Gensac and Francis Perrin among the supporting ensemble. The film adapts a 1923 stage farce by Yves Mirande and Gustave Quinson, a popular play that had already been brought to the screen in several earlier versions. Jean Halain joined the two playwrights on the screenplay.
