Thin Blue Line

Thin Blue Line (Swedish: Tunna blå linjen) is a Swedish police procedural drama created by Cilla Jackert and produced by Anagram Produktion. It premiered on the public broadcaster SVT on 17 January 2021, returned for a second season in 2022, and closed with a third and final season broadcast in September 2024.

The series follows a group of young uniformed officers working the streets of Malmö. Their shifts in a busy, crime-ridden city bleed into their private lives, and the line between the job and everything else grows steadily thinner. Rather than staging heroics, the show stays with the ordinary, wearing and often unresolved texture of daily policing.

Twenty-four episodes were produced across the three seasons, with Sanna Lenken and Anders Hazelius among the directors and Erik Ahrnbom and Malin Marmgren writing alongside Jackert. The principal cast includes Amanda Jansson, Oscar Töringe and Sandra Stojiljkovic, together with the Swedish actress of Turkish descent Gizem Erdoğan.
