Un caso di coscienza

Un caso di coscienza (Italian for A matter of conscience) is a 1970 Italian comedy-drama written and directed by Giovanni Grimaldi. The film adapts Leonardo Sciascia's short story of the same name, taken from his collection Il mare colore del vino.

Running about 113 minutes, it features a large ensemble of performers of the era, including Lando Buzzanca, Raymond Pellegrin, Dagmar Lassander, Paolo Carlini, Helga Liné and Turi Ferro. Shot in Italian, the film was completed in 1969 and released theatrically in 1970.
