You Burned Me (Yaktın Beni) (translated)

Yaktın Beni (You Burned Me) is a 2015 Turkish comedy-drama film. It marked the directorial debut of Can Yücel, son of veteran actor Uğur Yücel, from a screenplay by Uğraş Güneş, with TMC Film producing. The film opened in theaters on October 16, 2015.

Selam works as a firefighter and has rebuilt a stable life after losing his family. His greatest dream is to marry İpek, his girlfriend of many years. Just as he edges closer to that goal, his uncle Macit, whom he has not seen in years, suddenly shows up and decides to move into Selam's home. Matters grow even more tangled when Macit falls for a woman named Leyla. The events unfolding around these two men weave comedy and drama together into a love story.

Uğur Yücel stars as Macit and Sarp Apak as Selam, while Sinem Kobal plays İpek. The supporting cast includes Meltem Cumbul, Sezai Aydın, Hasibe Eren, Bülent Şakrak and Ayça Damgacı.
