Ursula Corbero — Biography

Úrsula Corberó Delgado was born on 11 August 1989 in Sant Pere de Vilamajor, near Barcelona, to shopkeeper Esther Delgado and carpenter Pedro Corberó, and has a sister, Mónica. She knew she wanted to act from around age six, appeared in commercials as a child, took her first television role at thirteen, and trained in flamenco and jazz dance. After debuting on screen in 2002's Mirall Trencat, she reached a wide Spanish audience as Ruth Gómez in Física o Química.

Her performance as Margarita de Austria in the 2014 series Isabel made her the first actress to receive the Sitges Film Festival's Untameable Award, and that year she also took her first film lead in the comedy Cómo sobrevivir a una despedida. In 2017 she became known worldwide playing the robber Tokyo in Money Heist, which won Best Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards and brought her an ATV Award; she took her first dramatic film lead in Julio Medem's The Tree of Blood and made her English-language debut in the series Snatch.

She crossed into Hollywood in 2021 with Snake Eyes, later joined the Netflix film Lift, and won an Ondas Award for her performance in the true-crime miniseries Burning Body. Corberó, who is partnered with actor Chino Darín, became a mother in 2026.
