Arzu Okay — Biography
Arzu Okay (born 23 June 1955 in Istanbul) is a Turkish film actress. After being named "Sinema Yüz Güzeli" (cinema's most beautiful face) in 1970, she entered Yeşilçam and appeared in dozens of films throughout the 1970s.
Among her early works are İpini Boynunda Bil and Zapata (1971), Ali Cengiz Oyunu (1972, as Suna), Cennetin Kapısı (1973, as Filiz) and Uyanık Kardeşler (1974, as Nermin). From the mid-1970s she became one of the best-known stars of the era's erotic comedies and adventure films, including Sütü Bozuk (1976) and Kucaktan Kucağa (1976).
Okay left the cinema at the end of the 1970s and went into business, where she won an award for an export record. She has a daughter and has lived in France for many years.
