Ayçin İnci — Biography

Ayçin İnci was born on 3 May 1980 in Istanbul to Çiğdem Karakoç and Murat İnci. After finishing Üsküdar High School she studied economics through Anadolu University's distance-learning programme, and from 2001 she began appearing in commercials. Turning to acting, she trained under Şahika Tekand and stepped in front of the camera in 2003 with the series Kurşun Yarası; two years later she made her film debut in Sen Ne Dilersen, and in 2006 she first appeared on stage in the play Eurideke'nin Çığlığı.

She went on to take roles in Oğlum İçin, Benim Annem Bir Melek, Mor Menekşeler, İbret-i Alem, Tozlu Yollar, Salih Kuşu and Üç Arkadaş. Playing Zuhal opposite Keremcem and Ezgi Asaroğlu in Fox Tv's O Hayat Benim, she reached a wide audience. A granddaughter of veteran actor Bilal İnci and sister of actress Ayça İnci, she has been married and divorced twice, first to fellow actor Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan and later to Serdal Genç.
