Cem Erman — Biography

Cem Erman (born Süleyman Faik Durgun; January 1, 1947, İskenderun – August 7, 2011, Adana) was a Turkish film actor.

He attended Gazi Paşa Primary School in Mersin and Kabataş Middle School in Istanbul, and left İskenderun High School before graduating to do his military service. In Yeşilçam he became known mostly for villain roles and appeared in more than sixty films, among them Yüz Numaralı Adam (1978), Geri Dön (1987) and Kızım ve Ben (1988).

In 2007 he married Sevim Demiroğlu; although the couple divorced shortly afterwards, they later reunited and stayed together until his death. He died in Adana on August 7, 2011, while reading a book, and was buried in Kabasakal Cemetery.
