Come Back (Geri Dön) (translated)

Geri Dön (Come Back) is a 1987 Turkish drama film directed by Orhan Elmas from a screenplay by Erdoğan Tünaş. Produced by Sezer Film with a score by Sezen Aksu, the 85-minute picture follows the forbidden-romance formula typical of the era's Yeşilçam cinema.

The story follows Gamze, a woman who escapes poverty by marrying Sedat, a wealthy but much older businessman. After Sedat suffers a heart attack, his son Kenan returns from abroad to visit him and falls for his stepmother at first sight. Gamze, who secretly returns Kenan's feelings, is forced to hide their growing attraction. Hülya Avşar stars as Gamze, alongside Reha Yeprem and Efgan Efekan.
