For the Sake of Duty (Vazife Uğruna) (translated)

Vazife Uğruna ("For the Sake of Duty") is a 1986 Turkish crime drama directed by Orhan Elmas, written by Erdoğan Tünaş and produced by Erler Film.

The story follows veteran police chief Tahsin Kaya (Cüneyt Arkın), who is nearing retirement when a drug trafficking ring he had previously broken up resurfaces seeking revenge, targeting his daughter Gamze (Şehnaz Dilan). Muzaffer Tema plays the vengeful gang leader Tahir, while Coşkun Göğen appears as Sabri.
