Daniele Liotti — Biography

Daniele Liotti is an Italian actor born on 1 April 1971 in Rome. He entered the film industry in 1993 and initially built his name through comic roles, before taking on his first dramatic part in 1998 in an Argentine feature. His career also includes international work: a small part in a German-British-American Doctor Zhivago miniseries, and, in 2006, a lead role opposite Max von Sydow and Dolph Lundgren in a two-part television production about a Roman soldier sent by Emperor Tiberius to investigate the death of Jesus of Nazareth.

He has two brothers, Marco and Roberto Liotti, both singers, with Marco known as the founder of a music group; Liotti himself has long served as an ambassador for a charitable association devoted to fighting Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy. His screen credits also include Clash of Civilization Over an Elevator in Piazza Vittorio and Il Capo dei Capi.
