Derya Artemel — Biography

Derya Artemel is a Turkish television actress born in İzmir on October 21, 1980. She trained in acting at the Theatre Department of Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts and has appeared on Turkish television since the early 2000s.

She began her career in 2002 with the series Zerda, and went on to appear in Aliye, Seher Vakti, and Fikrimin İnce Gülü, as well as Yol Arkadaşım, Bitmeyen Şarkı, and Cinayet, gaining experience across genres ranging from drama to crime. She became widely remembered for playing Mesude in the series Kırgın Çiçekler, which began in 2015, and for her line "Kemal'im yapmaz!," and later also appeared in Aşk ve Mavi, a continuation of the same story world.

Having stayed out of the spotlight for some time, Artemel drew renewed attention on social media in 2026 after appearing with a changed look, sparking interest among longtime fans.
