Murder (Cinayet) (translated)

Cinayet is a Turkish crime and police procedural television series adapted from the Danish series Forbrydelsen. Produced by Adam Film and Akbel Film, it was directed by Serdar Akar and Sadullah Şentürk from a screenplay by Ercan Mehmet Erdem. The series premiered on Kanal D on January 7, 2014, but low ratings led to its early cancellation, with the fifth and final episode airing on February 9, 2014.

The story follows two detectives trying to solve a mysterious murder and the events unfolding around them. Nurgül Yeşilçay and Engin Altan Düzyatan shared the leading roles, while the supporting cast included Uğur Polat, Şükran Ovalı, Tansu Biçer, Murat Garipağaoğlu and Derya Artemel.
