The Day My Destiny Was Written (Kaderimin Yazıldığı Gün) (translated)

Kaderimin Yazıldığı Gün is a Turkish romance and drama television series produced by O3 Medya, which premiered on Star TV on October 14, 2014 and ended with its 50th episode on December 29, 2015. Directed by Sadullah Şentürk and spanning two seasons, the series is an adaptation of the Argentine telenovela Mujer comprada, written by Ligia Lezama. The leading roles were played by Özcan Deniz, Hatice Şendil, Begüm Kütük Yaşaroğlu and Gürbey İleri.

The story follows Kahraman Yörükhan, a wealthy landlord who longs for a child but learns his wife is barren, and Elif, a village worker who agrees to act as a surrogate. When Kahraman's mother secretly arranges for the in-vitro procedure to use Elif's own eggs, the birth sparks a growing passion between Elif and Kahraman, entangling the family in secrets and conflict.
