Wren (Çalıkuşu) (translated)

Çalıkuşu is the third screen adaptation of Reşat Nuri Güntekin's 1922 novel of the same name, produced by Tims&B Productions and aired on Kanal D between 2013 and 2014. Directed by Çağan Irmak, it stars Fahriye Evcen and Burak Özçivit.

The series follows Feride, an idealistic young woman orphaned as a child and raised at a boarding school, and her love for her cousin Kâmran, alongside her later experiences working as a teacher in Anatolia. The show wrapped up after 30 episodes, reused a new arrangement of Esin Engin's theme music from the 1986 adaptation as a nod to earlier versions of the story, and was sold to countries including Serbia, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
