Su Kutlu — Biography

Su Kutlu was born in Istanbul in 1991 and trained as an actress. She made her screen debut in 2012 as Amelya in Hayatımın Rolü, a Star TV series led by Haluk Bilginer and Ebru Özkan.

The following year she joined the casts of the Çalıkuşu adaptation and Ali Ayşe'yi Seviyor. She played Sude in Güzel Köylü, which began in 2014, and left the series in April 2015. In 2016 she played Gizem in Show TV's Arkadaşlar İyidir and Simya, the younger sister of Yiğit, in ATV's Seviyor Sevmiyor. She made her film debut in 2017 as Zeynep in Aile Arasında. In later years she appeared in series and films such as Bir Mucize Olsun, Çukurdere, Dengine and Organizasyon Bizim İşimiz.

In 2015 she made the news after an altercation with staff at a venue. In interviews in 2026 she said the television industry tries to force actors into moulds, that she was still being offered high-school roles in her thirties, and drew attention with her claim that Turkish series are mainly watched by audiences abroad.
