Deniz Celiloğlu — Biography
Deniz Celiloğlu was born on 19 July 1986 in Razgrad, Bulgaria, and moved to Istanbul with his family at the age of three. He discovered theatre at thirteen and graduated from the Theatre Department of the State Conservatory at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
He began his television career in 2010 with the role of Selim in Kanal D's series Kanıt and made his cinema debut with the film Ev. He appeared in the series Muhteşem Yüzyıl, Çalıkuşu, O Hayat Benim, Seddülbahir 32 Saat, Gecenin Kraliçesi and Siyah Beyaz Aşk, drawing attention with the character Çetin in Poyraz Karayel. He took leading roles in the films Tamam mıyız? and İçimdeki Balık.
In 2019 he played Captain Faruk in 7. Koğuştaki Mucize, and in 2023 he took the lead role of Samet in the film Kuru Otlar Üstüne. Remaining active on stage, he appeared in the theatre play Güneşin Oğlu at the end of 2025 and joined the cast of the series İstanbul Hatırası in 2026.
