Görkem Sevindik — Biography
Born on 17 October 1986 in Adana, Görkem Sevindik trained at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center and made his screen debut as Pusat Çakır in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, picking up several supporting-actor awards early in his career. Wider recognition came with his role as Sergeant Major Mücahit Serdengeçti (Keşanlı) in Söz.
He went on to play Boz in Ramo, Uğur in Kahraman Babam, and Sarı Saltuk in Mavera, followed by Oktay Durmaz in Erkek Severse and a widely praised turn as Ali in Ateş Kuşları. He played Kadir in the 2025 series Eşref Rüya, then Destan in the 2026 project To Love, To Lose, and joined the cast of a further new series, Güneş'in Doğduğu Yer, that same year.
He married basketball player Kübra Siyahdemir during the pandemic and the couple had a son, but it was reported in 2024 that the marriage had ended. In spring 2026 his outspoken humanitarian response to threats from Israeli minister Ben-Gvir drew wide attention; parliament speaker Numan Kurtulmuş phoned to congratulate him, and he met with President Erdoğan.
