Hakan Hatipoğlu — Biography
Hakan Hatipoğlu was born on November 28, 1979, in Çanakkale. After graduating in Business Administration from Işık University, he completed a master's degree in business at Marmara University. A professional water polo player, he has played for the club Adalarspor and represented Turkey's national water polo team at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Mersin.
He first became known through the Acun Ilıcalı-hosted competition Var Mısın Yok Musun, where he met Gizem Akın, whom he married in 2011. That same year he made his acting debut, playing Selim in the series Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi. He also competed in the 2010 Show TV edition of Survivor Kızlar - Erkekler and the 2015 TV8 edition of Survivor All Star, finishing sixth after 17 weeks on the island.
Hatipoğlu has also appeared in television commercials, and later co-hosted the TV8 program Survivor Panorama alongside Nur Tuğba Algül, remaining among its presenters through the 2026 season.
