Melis Tüzüngüç — Biography

Melis Tüzüngüç was born in Istanbul on 4 October 1994 and, after her parents separated while she was very young, grew up in the care of her paternal grandparents. She began acting in 2011 playing İpek in a youth drama series, and a year later made her name playing Balkız in the Gani Müjde-penned series Harem. In 2013 she shared the lead with Cem Davran in Babam Sınıfta Kaldı, then played Reyhan in Şimdi Onlar Düşünsün and Ceylan in Baba Candır. Her stage debut came in Sıcak Çikolata, a play that ran for roughly two and a half years, and she became widely known for playing Zeynep in Kanatsız Kuşlar. On screen she has appeared in Aşkın Gönül Yazısı, Bekarlığa Feda, and Ayrılık A.Ş., co-starring in the latter with İdris Nebi Taşkan.
