Nevin Seval — Biography
Nevin Seval (1920, Istanbul - October 19, 1958, Adana) was a Turkish theatre and film actress. Educated at the Istanbul Girls' High School and the Üsküdar American Academy, she became one of the prominent actresses of Turkish cinema in the 1940s. She made her name with the role of the Chinese Princess in Kahveci Güzeli (1941) and went on to appear in films such as Yayla Kartalı (1945), Harman Sonu (1946), Kızılırmak (1946), Kerim'in Çilesi (1947), Harmankaya (1948) and Parmaksız Salih (1950). She died in Adana in 1958 and is remembered as one of the notable figures of early Turkish cinema.
