Özlem Yılmaz — Biography

Özlem Yılmaz (born 17 July 1986, Istanbul) is a Turkish actress and model. Born and raised in Istanbul to a family originally from Rize, she attended Kartaltepe Primary School, Ataköy Republic High School and Kültür College. She began her acting training under Müşfik Kenter, had to take a break after her father's death, and graduated from the Müjdat Gezen Actor Studio in 2006.

Yılmaz started her television career in 2006, appearing in series such as Felek Ne Demek?, Rüyalarda Buluşuruz, Karagümrük Yanıyor, Dicle and Zoraki Koca. She became widely known through her roles in Unutulmaz (2009–2010), Kaçak (2013–2014) and Kara Ekmek (2015). She made her cinema debut in 2013 in Kudret Sabancı's film Karaoğlan, playing Princess Cise.

Her later work included the series Emanet and Ağlama Anne (2018) and the film Kuyudaki Taş (2020). In 2022 she announced that she was quitting acting.
