Philipp Baltus — Biography

Philipp Baltus is a German actor and voice performer born in Hamburg. He appeared in director Fatih Akın's films Duvara Karşı (Head-On, 2004), Aşka Ruhunu Kat (Soul Kitchen, 2009) and Altın Eldiven (The Golden Glove, 2019), and he has also worked in television and in other German productions.

His collaboration with Akın began with a small part, a psychiatric patient in Duvara Karşı. Beyond those films he acted in German productions such as Kebab Connection (2004), Underdogs (2007, as Tom) and Chiko (2008, as Scholle). On television he appeared in the Tatort episodes Häuserkampf (2009) and Der Fall Holdt (2017, as Jonathan Vosskamp), as well as in SOKO Köln and Die Bergretter; he is also listed in the casts of Ostwind 3 – Aufbruch nach Ora and Countdown – Die Jagd beginnt.
