Güven Kıraç — Biography
Güven Kıraç was born on 5 April 1960 in Istanbul and trained at the theatre department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University's State Conservatory. After a brief stint with the state theatre, he left to perform in various plays at Adana State Theatre, the Gülriz Sururi-Engin Cezzar Theatre and Tiyatro Stüdyosu, and gained wide recognition in 1995 through his portrayal of an eccentric taxi driver in a bank commercial.
He drew critical attention for his role as Yusuf in Masumiyet (1997) and went on to appear in films such as Gemide (1998), Mrs. Salkım's Diamonds (1999), Head-On (2004), Takva (2006), Kavşak (2008) and Uzun Hikaye (2012), as well as Müslüm (2018), before starring in the television series Tövbeler Olsun (2020).
Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has worked on both domestic and international productions and remains active in theatre and cinema.
