180°

180° is a 2010 Swiss-German co-production directed by Cihan İnan. In a big city at dusk, ordinary lives unfold in parallel: teenagers flirting shyly, a housewife absorbed in her favourite soap opera, hospital nurses chatting before the night shift, an elegant couple hurrying home through the traffic. This calm is shattered when a man bent on revenge walks into a building with a rifle, turning these happy, everyday worlds upside down. The film suggests that only faith in love and hope can bring salvation. Güven Kıraç appears among the international cast, alongside Şiir Eloğlu and Aslı Bayram.
