Robert Patrick — Biography

Robert Patrick was born on 5 November 1958 in the Georgia town of Marietta. The American screen actor built his name playing tough, authority-figure characters and broke through as the shape-shifting metal pursuer in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a part that made him instantly recognisable worldwide. He went on to appear in pictures such as Fire in the Sky, Cop Land, The Faculty and Walk the Line. On the small screen he took lead parts including agent John Doggett on The X-Files, Colonel Tom Ryan on The Unit, Cabe Gallo on Scorpion, and the villain later known as White Dragon on Peacemaker, plus guest or recurring turns on The Sopranos, True Blood, 1923 and Tulsa King. He has won a Saturn Award and picked up four further nominations. Colleagues have described him as a reliable, hard-working performer whose steady screen presence earned lasting respect within the industry.
