Lennon or McCartney

Lennon or McCartney is a 2014 short documentary film directed by Matt Schichter. The film compiles responses from 550 celebrities, gathered from interviews conducted over the years, all answering a single question: which of the two former Beatles is better, John Lennon or Paul McCartney? Among those featured are Arctic Monkeys, Benedict Cumberbatch, Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber, Metallica, Morgan Freeman, Sylvester Stallone and Tommy Chong.

In the final tally, 282 chose Lennon and 196 picked McCartney, while 15 named George Harrison, four said Ringo Starr and 50 gave no answer. Schichter explained that he already had all the interview footage on hand and simply decided, shortly before release, to put it all together in the hope that audiences would enjoy it.
