Semra Güzel — Biography

Semra Güzel was born on 1 June 1988 in Izmir. After completing her degree in Celal Bayar University's design program, she went to Germany, where she trained in drama in Hamburg, also earned beauty-specialist certifications and taught in that field for a time, and took an interest in radio and television presenting. After returning to Turkey, she continued her acting training at Craft Tiyatro in Istanbul.

Her screen career began in 2011 with the series Alemin Kralı, followed by roles in Zengin Kız Fakir Oğlan and Hıyanet Sarmalı, both from 2013; she appeared in the series Hom Ofis in 2014, and on film in the 2017 release Kervan 1915. She gained recognition for playing Sanem in Şevkat Yerimdar, a warm-hearted young woman devoted to her high-school friends Esin and Gizem and drawn to spiritual matters.
