Senan Kara — Biography

Senan Kara is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress, born on 9 August 1978 in İzmir. She studied theatre acting at the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts, winning the faculty's theatre acting award in 1996 and graduating in 2000. She performed on stage as a permanent member of the Istanbul City Theatres.

She made her television debut in 2000 with the series Karakolda Ayna Var and became widely known as Veronika in Vatanım Sensin (2016). In 2019 she played Selma in the film Bilmemek, Nermin in Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir and Melek in Atiye; the same year she appeared in the series Kuzgun and the film Cep Herkülü: Naim Süleymanoğlu. After Adım Farah (2023), she began playing Zuhal in the series Aşk ve Gözyaşı in 2025. She is married to actor Serhat Tutumluer.
