Acacia Palace (Akasya Palas) (translated)

Akasya Palas is a 1940 Turkish comedy film directed by Muhsin Ertuğrul. The screenplay was adapted by Necdet Mahfi Ayral, who also appears among the actors, from a work by Mahmut Yesari.

The story revolves around Kamil and Kami, two characters living in a mansion in Ayazpaşa, and follows the misadventures they go through. The cast includes Cahide Sonku, Muammer Karaca, Refik Kemal Arduman, Hazım Körmükçü, Vasfi Rıza Zobu and Perihan Yanal. Distributed by İpek Film, the picture is also remembered as Süheyl Eğriboz's first appearance in a feature film.
