A Stormy Night (Bir Fırtına Gecesi) (translated)

Bir Fırtına Gecesi (A Stormy Night) is a black-and-white Turkish film released on 15 March 1950. Blending drama with thriller elements, it was written and directed by Vedat Örfi Bengü, who adapted his own story for the screen, and was produced by Nazif Duru for Atlas Film.

İlhan Arakon served as cinematographer, while the celebrated singer Safiye Ayla performed the film's songs. Bengü himself led the cast, appearing alongside Berrin Aydan, Türkan Can, Atıf Avcı, Kemal Emin Bara, Abbas Temizer, Sedat Kutbay, and Münir Ceyhan.
