Circle (Daire)

Daire (released internationally as Circle) is a 2014 Turkish drama film written and directed by Atıl İnaç, with Derya Tarım and Tolga Avcil serving as producers. The story follows three characters whose lives become entangled around a disused airport, their paths crossing in unexpected ways.

Blending drama with touches of dark humor, the film looks at people pushed to the margins of society and the fragile hopes and connections that emerge amid hardship. The cast features Erol Babaoğlu, Fatih Al, Nazan Kesal, Kanbolat Görkem Arslan, Selen Uçer and Nalan Kuruçim. During its festival run, the film earned recognition for its direction and for the performances of its ensemble.
