Don't Shout It from the Rooftops (original French title: Ne le criez pas sur les toits) is a 1943 French comedy drama directed by Jacques Daniel-Norman from a screenplay by Jean Bernard-Luc. The picture stars Fernandel, Robert Le Vigan and Meg Lemonnier. It was produced during the Second World War and filmed at the Marseille Studios, located in the Unoccupied Zone of France. The sets were created by art director Robert Giordani. The production belongs to the body of French light entertainment made under the constraints of the wartime period, and it remains one of the screen appearances of Fernandel, among the most popular French comic actors of his era.
