Fantasia Among the Squares

Fantasia Among the Squares (original French title: Fantasia chez les ploucs) is a 1971 French-Italian co-production comedy directed by Gérard Pirès. Adapted from a novel by Charles Williams, a prolific author of detective fiction, the film is set in Alabama in the United States and has been described as a parody of stereotypical American cinema.

The film stars Lino Ventura, Jean Yanne and Mireille Darc, with Alain Delon appearing in a cameo role. Written by Pirès together with Georges Beller, the 100-minute feature was released in 1971.
