Halal police d'État

In Halal police d'État, a serial killer begins targeting Arab grocers in Paris, and when one of the victims turns out to be an Algerian diplomat, Algeria dispatches two investigators of its own to assist with the case: Inspector Nerh-Nerh and "the Kabyle," a man who lost every trace of an Arabic accent in his French after being abducted by aliens. In Paris, suspicion quickly falls on the Asian community, but the pair's unorthodox instincts and supposedly flawless techniques steer the inquiry in unexpected directions.

Directed by Rachid Dhibou, this 2011 French comedy was co-written by the comedy duo Éric et Ramzy, who also take on the leading roles. Its title is a playful twist on the French name of the television series Hawaii Five-O.
