Invasion 1700

Invasion 1700 (original Italian title Col ferro e col fuoco, French title Par le fer et par le feu) is a 1962 Italian-French historical epic directed by Fernando Cerchio. The film adapts With Fire and Sword, the celebrated 1884 historical novel by Polish writer Henryk Sienkiewicz, and was also released in some markets under the titles With Fire and Sword and Daggers of Blood.

Shot in Italian, the roughly 100-minute production blends drama and adventure. Its international cast includes Jeanne Crain, John Drew Barrymore, Pierre Brice, Akim Tamiroff, Gordon Mitchell and Milena Vukotic.
