Fratricide (Kardeş Katili)

Fratricide, known to Turkish audiences as Kardeş Katili, is a 2005 feature film written for the screen and directed by Yılmaz Arslan. It was produced by Tarantula together with YA Filmproduktion and was promoted with the tagline "violence knows no borders".

The credited cast includes Xewat Geçtan and Azad Çelik alongside Bülent Büyükaşık, Taies Farzan, Nurettin Çelik, Özay Fecht, Necmettin Çobanoğlu, Yusuf Geçtan and Oral Uyan.

The film earned festival recognition on release: at Locarno 2005 it received the Silver Leopard awarded by the youth jury, and the same year it took the Arte Mare-Mediavision Grand Prix.
