KBV – Keine besonderen Vorkommnisse

KBV – Keine besonderen Vorkommnisse is a German crime-comedy series created by Lutz Heineking junior, adapted from the Australian series No Activity, which also spawned an American remake. The six-part first season premiered in February 2021 on TVNOW (later RTL+), and a second season had already been commissioned before the debut, arriving in November of the same year.

The story follows two commissioners assigned to stake out a warehouse where illegal dealings are suspected. Night after night, however, absolutely nothing happens. Out of sheer boredom, the pair begin swapping increasingly bizarre stories from their private lives. In the police station's control room, the officers on duty suffer the same tedium. What none of them realize is that inside the warehouse, the two criminals they're watching are passing the time in exactly the same way, trading outrageous tales from their colorful pasts.
