Koose-ye Jonoob

Koose-ye Jonoob (Persian: کوسه جنوب, "Shark of the South") is a 1977 Iranian film directed by Samuel Khachikian, one of the prolific figures of pre-revolutionary Persian commercial cinema. Categorized as a drama, thriller and crime picture, it was produced by Parviz Hejazi at the Kamerafilm studio, marking his third production in that role. The screenplay, written by Amir Ghavidel and Bahman Zarrinpur, is based on a story by Iraj Golafshan. The film runs roughly 108 minutes and was made in the Persian language.

The cast features Iraj Ghaderi alongside Hassan Rezaei, Morteza Aghili, Karmen, Aram, Houshang Mansourkhaki, Mahmoud Pirasteh, Khashayar and Shahab Asgari.
