The Roar of the Storm
The Roar of the Storm (Persian: Na're-ye Tufan) is a 1969 Iranian film directed by Samuel Khachikian from a screenplay by Manoochehr Keymaram. Classified as a drama with crime elements, it stars Mohammad-Ali Fardin, one of the most popular leading men of pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema, alongside Farrokhlagha Houshmand, Niloofar and Reza Abdi. The Persian-language picture runs about 89 minutes and belongs to the commercial film output of Iran in the years before the 1979 revolution. Khachikian was especially associated with thriller and crime pictures, and this production fits within that body of genre work.
